On behalf of the American people, Mthought, Inc. would like to formally request that the Jefferson $2 Bill be reinstated and printing begin immediately to increase circulation of this valuable denomination of US Currency. For the reasons outlined below we feel that there is a substantial need for this action to stabilize the US economy, bolster consumer confidence and encourage consumer spending.
Over the last decade, with regular increases in inflation we have seen the value of the US dollar slowly decrease making lower denominations less powerful. In most cases, the Washington $1 Bill simply does not provide enough purchasing power for the majority of consumables currently on the market. I submit that the Jeffy is the solution to this growing problem.
