reinstate the letters "eth" (Ð, ð) and "thorn" (Þ, þ) to the English alphabet.

Created by A.A. on December 17, 2013

The reintroduction of letters "eth" and "thorn" to the English alphabet would enhance the written English language. They would help eliminate any possible confusion over which pronunciation of "th" is warranted at any given time. "Thorn" in particular would be a great asset to the modern language as it still has vestigial use in English in the form of "ye" (ye olde antique shoppe, for example). Furthermore, a redesigned keyboard featuring these two storied letters would help in typing Icelandic.
