The Reagan administration discontinued lifetime health benefits for veterans and veterans families. The Obama administration should bring back those health benefits and make it retroactive for veterans and veterans families who suffer without medical coverage. This coverage should extend beyond service connected disabilities and serve as a life long insurance coverage for past and present veterans, veterans families and immediate dependents.
