Reinstate the mandatory recital of the Pledge of Allegiance in all public schools.

Created by C.B. on April 02, 2013

Due to the nature of the Pledge of Allegiance, statements such as "one nation under God" and the very nature and reason for the pledge; that is national pride and identity, may be open to resistance from particular students whether they be of a polytheistic religious faith, or no particular faith, they may find the Pledge of Allegiance offensive. As to solve this problem and still keep this piece of our culture intact, I recommend we allow any students whom find the Pledge of Allegiance to be offensive or against their views to be allowed to not participate in the pledge. America has a fragile culture built upon the foundations of the many cultures that have settled here, and to take away the Pledge of Allegiance is offensive to many Americans, as it is not about religion, but about the US
