Reinstate mental hospitals in order to get the mentally ill off the streets and receiving the help they need.

Since mental institutions closed, crime and drug use has skyrocketed in the US. By reinstating hospitals for the mentally ill with modern concepts and proper funding we can create a safe place for the homeless and mentally ill to live and receive treatment and proper rehabilitation. This in turn will reduce crime and self medicating.
