President Obama should work with Congress to reinstate the draft in preparation for hostilities with foreign aggressors, including North Korea. This will not only send a clear message to North Korea and other hostile nation-states, but strengthen the U.S. military and ensure the United States is ready to defend itself. The youth of America will also benefit from compulsory national service.
