reinstate the net neutrality laws set in place by the FCC in order to protect the consumer from large ISPs

Created by R.S. on January 14, 2014

A court recently handed down a ruling that effectively invalidates the net neutrality laws that allow the internet to be a fully open network. This new ruling will allow corporations to make deals and decide as to what things you receive through your internet connection. This will in turn drive the cost of full internet access through the roof, making information harder to obtain and thereby limiting the consumer's access to knowledge. The internet deserves to be considered a utility as it is a necessary item for any human on earth today. The corporations are over stepping their bounds and are going to cause a significant amount of damage unless something is done. We are about to happen upon bad times in the digital world. It's time to solve this problem.
