On December 27, 2012 President Barack Obama signed an executive order which ends the pay freeze on the 113th congress, Vice President Joe Biden, and other Government officials. This pay freeze has been in place since 2010 and now is not the time to reward Congress by ending it. They have not lived up to the expectations of the American people whom elected them and have not been able to reach a compromise on the fiscal cliff. I strongly encourage President Obama to reconsider this decision and not reward Congress after not accomplishing what was asked of them.
