Reinstate public hangings to lower crime by showing criminals what will happen if they kill another human being.

In the nineteenth century when public hangings were still sociably acceptable the crime rate was much lower than it is today. Striking fear in the hearts of criminals is what this country needs to do to try instead of banning guns because this will discourage the criminal for doing the crime in the first place.
