Reinstate tariffs on goods manufactured outside the US and create tariffs on jobs outsourced from the United States.

The purpose of this petition is request the US government to reinstate tariffs for all goods manufactured outside the US. This includes placing a tariff on the difference in wages between US jobs and all outsourced positions. These tariffs will generate revenue and promote equality in manufacturing costs that have previously resulted in manufacturing and jobs being lost to other countries such as China, Mexico, and India. Tariffs on goods will over time restore manufacturing jobs. Tariffs on technical jobs will restore technical and support jobs in the US. We are tired of the government caring more about welfare and deplomacy to other countries than the citizens of this country.
