Acknowledging that progressive tax policy—not Republican tax cuts designed to "starve the beast" and erode government services—is stimulative of economic growth; The White House will advocate the enactment of a bill which sets all types of Federal tax revenues—personal income tax brackets, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, corporate tax—at Bill Clinton-era levels, without exception.
To the extent that Republican obstructionism interferes with the objective of this petition, The White House shall marshall all available resources to helping elect a 113th Congress that is more committed to enacting sound fiscal policy.
