Reinstate term limits for the US Congress.

Created by T.B. on January 16, 2013

Congress used to be composed of Americans in-tune with every-day American life, because they were every-day Americans with every-day jobs. They would go to Washington, put in their time, and then return back to their "normal" jobs.
Today we have a Congress of men who have never had a "real" job and have no intention of ever leaving Washington, creating a major incentive to stay in Washington at all costs.
Priorities for Congressmen should be to better the lives of Americans, not preserve their own seats. But today we have politicians creating political ties and cutting backroom deals by which our forefathers would be utterly embarrassed.
Let's get back to the good old days and bring responsibility back to Washington. We can take the first step by reinstating Congressional term limits.
