America has been one of the leading nations in the free world for years however our voting system simply doesnt work as intended. Thanks to the electoral college and "winner take all" states our votes dont often count for the presidental election. In the age of technology the Electoral college has no place, the time has come to remove it from the Voting process and allow each vote to count, and each voice to be heard. I propose our duly elected representatives be Elected Via popular vote and ONLY popular vote. This would prevent Gerrymandering and allow our system to be fluid with the will of the people instead of allowing incumbants to redraw voting districts in their favor. We live in an age where each individual vote can and should be counted. The college had its time.
