Congress has passed a budget reversal for the Armed Forces to reinstate Tuition Assistance for the remainder of the Fiscal Year, but left the Coast Guard out of the reversal. The Coast Guard was left out of the budget reversal because it is part of the DHS and the reversal passed by Congress covered only the DOD budget. Hopefully the senior leadership does the right thing and reinstates it without pressure to do so, but if they don't the Coast Guard deserves equal treatment.
