The United States Air Force Thunderbirds are the Ambassadors in Blue and are a critical recruiting tool as are the US Navy's Blue Angels. The cost savings of grounding both aerial demonstration teams are miniscule, $38 million combined. Both teams symbolize the professionalism and commitment of both services to the defense of our great nation. The revenue generated by their performances and the interaction with the public make their grounding counterproductive.
