Under a chapter 5-13, it is considered to be a pre existing condition and continued VA benefits are not granted. Every service member has undergone the same mental evaluation and was passed as fit for service. This has become an easy way for military doctors to push on to service members as the ability to retain their benefits. They however do not disclose the limited amount of time they actually have their rightfully earned.
