Today, over 20,000 captive wild cats reside in American houses against their will, snatched from their natural habitats where they would have the world to roam. Exotic pet owners often mean well but cannot afford to humanely care for their big cats. Nearly 98% of the big cat cubs owned as pets do not live past the first two years of life.
Even smaller wild cats can be dangerous. Twenty-one humans have died from exotic cat attacks, more than any other type of exotic pet. No one can truly own a big cat- they are the sons and daughters of Mother Nature, and have a right to live just as we do. Please take action and sign this petition for the big cats.
