With 355 mass shooting incidents in the United States in 336 days, we're at a critical point in history where we must do something to prevent these mass murder sprees from occurring. From Sandyhook to San Bernadino, assault weapons are used to kill and maim as many people as possible. Hunters do not need assault rifles to kill animals, nor do they need ammunition clips that contain hundreds of rounds. Assault rifles with the capacity to shoot multiple rounds per second/minute, should be available ONLY to the military in war. The assault weapons ban didn't remove all guns, or infringe gun owners rights to own a gun. It is a ban that is underpinned by logic, and should be reintroduced to remove these weapons of war from our streets.
