Reintroduce the red wolf species to the smoky mountains and increase research and development of the almost extinct wolf

Created by K.M. on April 29, 2013

Reintroduce the red wolf species to the great smoky mountains and rest of Appalachia's mainly in east TN, easy KY, west NC, west Va, and north east GA. The species was close to extinction and efforts have been made to repopulate but are slow and lacking of sufficient funding. Not only will we be protecting a species but part of history. It also will add more jobs to scientist, veterinarians, and wildlife management. It will also add to held cut down on species such as nutria and wild hogs. It will held educate our youth on wildlife, potentials of over hunting, endangered species, and science. Also on a side note who wouldn't think it was neat to see and hear red wolves in the wild.
