The current system is one that benefits American companies who move jobs overseas. By having lower-paid workers in foreign countries produce goods, companies can take advantage of the American consumer while not having to pay American wages, leading to money flowing out of the American economy.
To really bring back jobs to the US, we need to reintroduce tariffs that ensure that the only reason something would be produced overseas is because they can make it better and not that they just only get paid 25 cents an hour while Americans workers have a minimum wage. Through reintroducing the tariffs we will see companies bringing jobs back into the United States as it will no longer make them richer to export jobs. This will create American jobs and strengthen our economy.
