Our response to 9/11 has created the justification for two wars and the Patriot Act. The Patriot Act constrains the free movement of Americans and facilitates warrantless domestic spying. In addition, recent laws like NDAA have diminished our right to trial and due process and chilled free speech. Needless spending and debt have been created by our response to 9/11. Our wars cause death and suffering abroad which brings enmity towards us. Wars, the Patriot Act, and debt enrich the few and tax the many.
1700 architects and engineers petitioned government to reinvestigate 9/11 because they believe that the NISA report to be bogus. Surveys say that half the country believes the government to have been dishonest on this issue.
