There is no right to secession, and it has been a tool used for political and social leverage for many years when one or more parties feel politically aggrieved.
The now rising petitions, asking for secession from the Union by citizens of some twenty states are traitorous. They are venomous statements in counter of democracy in the name of liberty, such liberty that states that if the many will not agree with the position of the few, that the few no longer have a civil duty to their nation.
This cannot be tolerated and must be struck down as intent of treason, not revolution, but simply aggrieved anger over differing perspective.
