Reject the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement.

Created by C.M. on October 29, 2011

The things that make the internet great are the feelings of anonymity associated with it; it creates a forum for people who would be otherwise scared to speak out. The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement would hamper this, by placing a large chilling effect on internet free speech, and all but removing internet privacy rights. I urge this administration to reject it, to keep the internet what it is and should be: The best medium for the free exchange of ideas ever invented.
I raise my glass to the free internet, I raise my glass to the free United States of America, and I raise my glass to the time in the hopefully near future where everyone on this planet will have the ability to dissent, to exchange ideas, and express themselves. The internet is the vehicle; Let's keep it running right.
