Currently the corporations that are attempting to merge are not lacking in profit and the media that are under the umbrella of Time Warner have lost all interest in reporting actual information to their viewers. An accurate and impartial news media is necessary for an informed citizenry. Furthermore, there are no consumer protections included in this merger. The top executives at both Time Warner and AT&T have no interest in doing anything other than lining their pockets with profit. Without competition, there is no reason for these companies to innovate their streaming services or other products. Government welfare checks don't help either. Reject this and promote a new Federal Communications Act immediately. Our Democracy is in trouble and We the People Demand Action
