Many Americans have no choice when it comes to their ISP or cable provider. They live under effective monopolies or duopolies, with either Comcast, Time Warner Cable (TWC), and to a lesser extent, Verizon and AT&T, as their only choice when it comes to their cable and internet. They pay exorbitant prices for substandard service. With the Comcast- TWC merger being reviewed, we petition the White House to reject the merger, and introduce steps to do away with the stifling monopolies in these fields and allow competition to take place once again.
