No other convicted “cop killer” has fooled as many people as inmate Leonard Peltier. His supporters cannot argue his case without invoking gross distortions and outright lies in contradiction to numerous and unanimous US District Court decisions against him.
Peltier was also involved in the 1975 murder of Anna Mae Pictou Aquash, a woman he interrogated at gunpoint six months before she was executed. Peltier boasted to Anna Mae and others that he shot two FBI Agents in the face at close range.
Mr. President, please defer to Attorney General Eric Holder and FBI Director Robert Mueller, both of whom are familiar with these murder cases. Peltier remains defiant, manipulative, and very guilty. It is time to end the charade. Please deny his petition. Keep this unrepentant killer behind bars.
