This petition is being signed and submitted to President Obama to implore him to reject the idea of appointing Senator Joe Lieberman to the position of Secretary of Homeland Security. Senator Lieberman's actions and words against the candidacy of Senator Barack Obama in the past two Presidential Elections should be reason enough to disqualify him as being capable of working for or with President Obama.
Senator Lieberman's loyalty to this President is in question and he does not deserve a Cabinet Appointment.
Please reject this notion.
