At a time when urgent climate change action is necessary, the Keystone XL Pipeline is still a lingering issue. We petition President Obama to reject this pipeline due to its environmental impact. Such risks include: toxic oil spills, polluted water, and endangered wildlife. The Keystone Pipeline could also triple the U.S. consumption of tar sands oil which is one of the most environmentally dangerous fuels in the world. We cannot wait any longer to address climate change and this would be a step in the right direction.
