While the proponents of KXL correctly claim that it will create jobs, we on the opposing side believe that the jobs created will be in the WRONG INDUSTRY. By rejecting the pipeline and setting national carbon limits, together we can start the hard work and begin to lay the foundation for the new green collar economy. It is true that we need jobs. We would like them to be part of a sustainable holistic vision, in an economy that understands and applies the intrinsic value of a clean environment.
