Reject the Mississippi secession petition, that we true Mississippians completely disagree with all sentiments suggested

This petition's purpose is to gain more signatures than the petition requesting Mississippi be allowed to seceed from the Union thereby showing that MOST MISSISSIPPIANS are sane and that most of us reject any figurative and/or literal senitments and/or statements from which such a petition may otherwise convey. Those of us signing this petition firmly denounce said petition and, regardless of our individual political views, underscore that we are citizens of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA of which Mississippi is, and shall forever be, a member thereof. We declare that we are ONE United States, underscore President Lincoln's quote (paraphrasing) A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand, and declare our house SHALL NOT BE DIVIDED!
