As a nation who thrives on innovation and sets examples for the world, we must make it absolutely clear that we will not accept the Keystone XL Pipeline project. We could better spend our time and money investing in clean energy so we no longer have to depend on foreign countries for oil.
The fact of the matter is the Pipelines sole purpose is to have tar sand transported quicker from Canada to Texas and then across the globe. It does not benefit The United States or the climate, as some would have you believe. Tar sands are extremely corrosive and are not a safer alternative for environment.
Americans must stand up and say no! Obama has already rejected the permit once and he will do it again once he sees We The People will not stand for it.
