The TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership) is a trade deal discussed in secrecy. Now we have the text to the deal.
Why are we fighting this? For one thing, companies can control other countries under this deal. Let's say that I own a paper company that pollutes. The Country fights it with a law saying that I can't do that. My company can go to a higher council that is elected by the company's. People have no say in that higher power. In a way in fact, all the countries involved would be combined into an oligarchy. The companies would run the country unopposed. This violates the first paragraph of the constitution on the United States "We the People". It may violate other constitutions in others involved. This is why we must keep the TPP out of the American Dream and other countries.
