This petition is for the American people to communicate their discontent with the current inability of Congress to compromise in order to achieve what is best for the citizenry of The United States of America.
Too long has our political system been hijacked by special interest groups and corporations who use dollars as votes. Let us remind our public servants that they indeed work for the American People, not a special classification of people.
Regardless of your political leanings, one issue is true above all others: Our government is ineffective and corrupt. We all see the pettiness from both sides of the aisle and the maturity of middle school children that our current political climate has created. I ask we as a Nation band together and have our voices heard!
