During the course of President Obama's administration (previous and current), he has spoken heavily about a transparent government. Right now, federal judges and CIA officials wish to continue holding back information that the American people want: the fifty-two photos that paint the story of SEAL Team Six's raid in Pakistan that led to the death of Osama bin Laden, as well as the pictures of Osama bin Laden himself.
The point of releasing these photos is not to fuel conspiracy theories, give Americans a moment to celebrate, or anything of the sort. Instead, releasing these photos is an opportunity for Obama and his administration to prove their transparency. It is the moment that helps strengthen the Freedom of Information Act. If they are not released, we have failed as a free nation.
