The federal government should release all federal lands that reside inside the geographical boundaries of the fifty states of the Union.
These lands should be managed by their respective states for good or ill. This would eliminate many jurisdictional issues and save millions of dollars in salaries and administrative costs.
Local control of resources allows better local input to manage the use of resources.
