Release all Orcas kept in captivity by Sea World Parks and Entertainment

Created by B.V. on February 12, 2014

Orcas, also known as killer whales, are incredibly intelligent beings very similar to humans. Each community or "pod" of orcas have their own dialect of language, similar to people all over the world. These mammals are also very social creatures, much like us. Sea World Parks and Entertainment is estimated to have made $1.4 billion is 2012. A substantial portion of that money is made based on the exploitation of Orcas. The captivity of these massive whales has negative impacts on their lives such as dorsal fin colapse, depression, and shorter life spans. Orcas are too intelligent to be slaves of Sea World, and therefore should be released back into their natural habitat so they can live long, healthy and happy lives.
