Release all states from federal responsibility.

I petition for the States to be given full government responsibility of their individual economy, and laws with no outside interference from the federal government. Federal currency should be sustained, but regulated by each state individually. Presidential and congressional power is to be determined by the states as a whole every four years as stands currently. The only purpose of these systems should be to maintain foreign peace, and the strong military force that has held this nation together since 1776. The people of each state should be protected under the same basic constitutional rights with the ability to amend these rights as each state finds fit. Avoid succession, sustain the union, and consider this proposal.
