The 5 frames of video footage released from one security camera of the Pentagon does not show anything conclusive to put to rest conspiracy theories that something other than a plane crashed into the Pentagon on September 11th. Private investigations determined that upwards of 85 security cameras on or in the vicinity of the attack were operational and should have captured evidence. Yet, reports from the day and days following the attack state that video camera footage was confiscated by government agents. Considering that Americans saw the attacks on the Twin Towers as they occurred live answers arguments against releasing the footage for sensitivity to the event. So there remains no conceivable reason to withold video that would otherwise vindicate the government's account of events.
