Release documentation needed by the open-source community to re-write the software used on electronic voting machines.

The source code used in electronic voting machines is not available to the general public, and has not been peer reviewed by impartial programmers to check for bugs or errors in the code. It seems like every election there are reports of 'calibration' errors where people end up voting for an unintended candidate. The only way to insure fair elections is to make hardware documentation available and allow the software to be re-written or at least peer reviewed by any interested party.
