Release e-cigarette and hookah tobacco regulations now!

Created by R.S. on April 22, 2016

Regulations required under the 2009 Tobacco Control Act have been proposed, argued, commented upon and drafted in final, but not yet promulgated as enforceable regulations. FDA submitted them to OMB on 19 OCT 15. Until they are authorized by the White House and published, E-cigs and cigars and hookah tobacco products remain unregulated and enticing to new customers, especially young ones, who are likely to become nicotine addicts with the predictable adverse health consequences.

Tobacco use is the foremost preventable cause of premature death in America. By 2009 the annual premature death cost of tobacco use was over 400,000 American deaths per year, and more than 8 million Americans had chronic illnesses related to smoking.

Please publish the final tobacco deeming regulations now.
