In the Interest of transparency this petition ask the Obama Administration to release the Memo about the legal justification for killing US citizens while abroad. So far we have not seen any explanation of how due process was applied, if it was at all. If there was no due process than this memo would at least show the process of deeming a US citizen a threat to national security.
The power to execute an American Citizen should only be employed after that citizen has stood trial and been judge by his peers as guilty. The President should not wield such power without proper judicial oversight and the American people deserve to know what is happening here.
