PFC Bradley Manning is an American Hero. He bravely revealed US soldiers committing war crimes: soldiers killing civilians, war reporters, and attacking children and then first responders. These are acts we associate with terrorists, not the US Military.
These war crimes have been ignored.
Manning, following US Army Sbj. Sch. No. 27-1 took this information up the chain of command. And when it failed, he made the information public, in order to better report the war crimes involved. He followed his duty as a soldier and American citizen, and for it has been imprisoned for 3 years, 11 months included torture. He now may face 136 years in prison.
His punishment should not be worse than the that of the criminals he exposed. Pardon PFC Bradley Manning and bring the war criminals to justice.
