This is a petition of an individual American citizen. I would
hope that you find the good sense and common decency to put an end to the ongoing hunger strike among the detained men in custody in Guantanamo Bay, by sending those cleared for release away, trying those with charges
according to the laws of our Country, and closing the facilities, as soon as possible. I have strong words for you on this; which I will reserve for myself and Our Father.
I cast my ballot in the belief that this issue would be addressed and remedied by your government. While not to blame for the problem inherited from Rumsfield, Cheney and Bush, you bear a heavy responsibility for your own inaction, as well as breaking your campaign promise. Please pity the prisoners and attempt to break the gridlock for us.
