The Trans Pacific Partnership is a series of secret negotiations between nations that are going to have impacts on environmental, legal, social, and intellectual property rights in participating countries. The current talks are being held in secret with only lobbyists and corporate entities being privy to what is at stake and what is discussed. This is happening without oversight of Congress or the public. This may involve restrictions on civil liberties, the rights of consumers to seek redress for reckless actions by corporations, or severely restrict enforcement of environmental regulations. If this 'agreement' is going to impact the lives of the people, we deserve a voice in the process. Let us bring the secrets into the light and let the public decide if this is to become policy
