Recently a video has been released by TMZ showing the full altercation between Ray Rice and then-fiancée Janay Palmer.
We were led to believe this was not as severe as it actually was and Rice escaped practically free of punishment from the courts and was only given a two game suspension from Roger Goodell - Commissioner of the National Football league.
This new video has horrified and shocked a lot of people even Mr. Rice's teammates who stood behind him as he made them think he was not to blame.
We would like to see the NFL and the Baltimore Ravens release him from his contract and the city where the crime was committed to reopen the case and file formal charges.
The NFL should be looking to set the right example for impressionable youth that look up to these football stars.
