It was recently reported that the Obamas will spend an additional $4 million, courtesy of John Q. Taxpayer, on a trip to Hawaii in January.
The American taxpayer should not be coerced to pay ever-higher taxes while President Obama, his wife and daughters; and reportedly up to 40 of their friends, engage in lavish pleasure trips.
If the President wants to play golf a few weekends a year, visit yellowstone, or take his children to Disney World, fine. Everyone can accept that. But if he's going to be wasteful, he should at least be accountable.
