Judge Lisa Gorcyca ordered children, ages, 9, 10 and 15 to live in a jail all summer long due to "disobeying a court order" to maintain a relationship with their father. The children are caught in the middle of a nasty custody dispute between their parents and the judge feels the mother is causing the kids to rebel against their father. Even so, does that constitute them being thrown in jail?! These children need family counseling and mediation, not punishment.
These children are already traumatized from a lengthy court battle along with a bitter divorce and do not need further trauma.
The judge also stated one of the children were "mentally messed up". If that is the case, he is in need of help, not an angry, impulsive judge throwing him in jail!
We the people, demand their release!
