release Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi on blu ray - their theatrical, non updated versions.

Created by A.R. on January 31, 2014

In 1989, the U.S. National Film Registry of the Library of Congress selected the STAR WARS as a "culturally, historically, or aesthetically important" film.

In 2010, the Empire Strikes Back was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress for being "culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant

While not on the Registry, Return of the Jedi completes the series.

These films are culturally relevent, but the public has never had non editted versions of the films on blu - ray. We the people wish the copyright holders of these films to release them in the original theatrical editions, cleaned and remixed to accommodate for today's home entertainment market.

Thank you.
