The people of the United States deserve to know the details of this trade deal before it is voted on by the individuals we elected to represent us. We will never know the full effects of this partnership if we are unable to read the entire agreement. But what we do know about it and from the history of other major trade deals like it is that it could have irreversible, negative effects on domestic job creation, the environment, our national security and the government's ability to regulate Wall Street banks. We demand the White House release the text of the agreement in accordance with the president's campaign promises to ensure transparency in Washington.
