RELEASE THE WHITE PLUME FAMILY FROM 2004 HEMP INJUNCTION AND RESPECT OGLALA SIOUX TRIBE HEMP LAWS AS MUCH AS STATE LAWS

The Oglala Sioux Tribe legalized non-drug industrial hemp in 1998. In 2000-2003, the White Plume Family planted hemp under tribal law and each time DEA destroyed it under its Zero Tolerance Policy. In 2004, DOJ obtained the White Plume Hemp Injunction banning the White Plumes from farming hemp - See Standing Silent Nation http://tinyurl.com/ylrx6np. In 2013, DOJ issued the Cole Memo that abandoned Zero Tolerance stating 8 priorities, none of which apply to hemp farming. While the 2014 Farm Bill legalized hemp research, the White Plumes are still banned from farming hemp by the Hemp Injunction.
